Harlem Library

The Book Challenge for May is to read a book made into a TV series. Kerry Shabi, Montana Native Growth Fund, will be at the library every other Monday 11:30 A.M. beginning May 9 to assist people with business development and home ownership questions. Montana Native Growth Fund’s service area is from Havre to Hays for both Native and non-Native persons. Montana Library Network will present the virtual program “A Cooking Demo with Mariah Gladstone, Indigikitchen May 20, 6:30-8 P.M. Preregister at tinyurl.com/indigikitchen. You may attend at the library or watch on your own device. Summer Reading begins May 31 with programs for all ages.

Bear Paw Cooperative

The Bear Paw Cooperative, through your local school district, assists in the provision of special education and related services to children with disabilities. Through a process called Child Find, your local school district accepts referrals, provides evaluations and special education for children ages 3-18 years if they qualify. Please contact your local school district or the Bear Paw Cooperative at 406-357-2269.


Blaine County Museum

New winter hours are Monday-Friday 12-5 and Saturdays from 10-2.

The Harlem Food Bank IS OPEN.

Chinook Golf Course

The Annual Community Dinner and Auction Fundraiser for the Chinook Golf Course will be Saturday, June 25th at the Commercial Building. Save the Date!!

Blaine County Library

Monday Hangout for grades 7 &8 at 3:30. Tuesday Story Time at 10:30 and Hangout for grades 5 &6 3:30. Thursday LEGO/STEAM Club 3:30. Friday Early Out Movie 1:30. The movie Friday 5/6 is Clifford the Big Red Dog. It runs for 1 hour and 36 minutes and is rated PG.


Chinook Senior Center

Join a Poetry Party Chinook Senior Center on May 11, 2022 at 1:00 pm. Cookies and coffee will be served. Introduction by Karyn Higgins and Lois Butcher at 1:30 with readings starting at 2:00 pm. Please call 357-2696 to get on the reading list. This will be a fun afternoon!

Block Builders Quilt Guild

will be May 10, at 7 pm at the Blaine County Library meeting room. Bring a novelty fat quarter and Gift of Life quilts.

Community Chest Fund Drive

will be May 4 at 5:30 at the Girls Scout House by the pool. Anyone needing some volunteer hours are welcome to come and help canvas the town and have some great refreshements.

Chinook Volleyball Camp

RISE volleyball camp - hosted by Chinook schools and presented by the players and coaches of the University of Providence.

June 8-9, 2022, Incoming grades 4-7 (10:00-12:00)
