Envelope Fundraiser Generates Funds for Arena Improvements

May 11, 2022

Blaine County 4-H has set a goal to improve the area near the Show and Sale Arena on the Blaine County Fairgrounds by planting grass and installing shade structures in time for the 2022 fair. Hoping to reach that goal with an Envelope Fundraiser, the organization has set a purchase deadline of May 15 for potential donors so that work can begin.

According to Julianne Snedigar, 4-H/Ag Extension Agent with MSU Blaine County, North 40 Outfitters has offered to donate grass seed, Triangle Communications is partnering and providing $1,000 to the cause, and North Chinook Boosters 4-H Club has applied for and was awarded a $500 4-H People Partner Grant for the project.

"We need the community's help to get the project completed for this year," Snedigar stated. "So, we invite everyone to consider participating in our Envelope Fundraiser. By purchasing an envelope at the cost listed, you will be partnering with Blaine County 4-H on this worthwhile project. We appreciate your support of our efforts to improve the Show/Sale area of the Blaine County Fairgrounds!"

Anyone interested in purchasing an envelope is encouraged to contact the Extension Office at 406-357-3200 to secure the envelope or envelopes that correspond with the desired donation amount. Each envelope can only be purchased once, and any supporters will be listed on a banner at the Blaine County Fairgrounds as a partner in the project.

The list of envelopes purchased will be updated daily on the Blaine County Montana 4-H Facebook page. All donations are tax deductible, and donors will receive a receipt for tax purposes.
