Harlem Library

The Friends of the Library Basket Raffle fundraiser is underway. Stop by the library May 25-June 7 to make your silent bid on the baskets. The finale will be June 8, 6 – 7:30 P.M, in the city park when final bids may be made. Refreshments will be served. Summer Reading “Oceans of Possibilities” begins May 31. All children are encouraged to register with a parent/guardian and set their goal for how many books/minutes to read this summer. Weekly programs include Storytime, Tuesdays 10 A.M .; Summer STEAM for elementary students, Wednesdays 1 P.M .; and Lego Club for all ages on Thursdays, 3:30 P.M. The Book Challenge for May is to read book made into a TV series. The library will be closed May 30 in observance of Memorial Day.

Bear Paw Cooperative

The Bear Paw Cooperative, through your local school district, assists in the provision of special education and related services to children with disabilities. Through a process called Child Find, your local school district accepts referrals, provides evaluations and special education for children ages 3-18 years if they qualify.
