Harlem Library

The Book Challenge for July is to read a book featuring a baby. Summer Reading will soon draw to a close, but keep on reading! The final week of programs will be July 18 with Summer Storytime on July 19 at 10 A.M., Summer STEAM on July 20 at 1 P.M. All reading logs are due July 22. The final Lego Club for the summer is July 14 at 3:30.

Bear Paw Cooperative

The Bear Paw Cooperative, through your local school district, assists in the provision of special education and related services to children with disabilities. Through a process called Child Find, your local school district accepts referrals, provides evaluations and special education for children ages 3-18 years if they qualify. Please contact your local school district or the Bear Paw Cooperative at 406-357-2269.

Blaine County Museum

We have extended our summer season! We will be open seven days a week from 9-5 through the first weekend in October.


Blaine County Library

Mondays Beat the Heat movies 1:30, and Hangout for grades 7 & 8 at 3:30. Tuesdays 10:30 Story Time for ages 6 and under, 1:30 Summer Reading Program, and Hangout for grades 5 & 6 at 3:30. Wednesdays Story Walk at the pool 1:30. Teen Scene 5:00-7:00 every other Wednesday. Thursdays LEGO/STEAM Club at 3:30 p.m. Monday July 11th movie will be Back to the Sea.

Class Reunion

Plans are being made for a 50th year class reunion for the Harlem High School class of 1972 to be held at Zurich Park September 3rd and 4th. If you’d like to attend, get ahold of Ede Breitmeier at (406) 344-0078 or Betty Billmayer at 406-390-4935. Please spread the word to any classmates that you are in touch with.

Wildlife Museum

Come join the Blaine County Wildlife Museum in celebrating their new addition with a BBQ. Food will be served from 11am - 2 pm on 7/16/22.

Transportation Meeting

The annual County Transportation Committee Meeting will be held on Thursday, July 21st at 9:30 am. The meeting will take place in the EOC room on the second floor of the Blaine County Courthouse. The purpose of this meeting is to approve all bus routes within the county as well as isolated individual transportation contracts for the 2022-23 school year.

Chinook Blood Drive

Chinook will be hosting a blood drive on Tuesday, July 19th, 2022 from noon till 6pm at Wallner Hall 330 Ohio. To make an appointment go to http://www.redcrossblood.org. if If you are unable to make an appointment but would like to donate, walk in’s are always welcome.

Masks are no longer required as of April 25th, 2022.
