Chinook Men's League Champions Crowned

The 2022 Chinook Men's League Champions are 'Hole 19', Tim Vosburgh, Mike Seymour, Craig Miller and Marty Dirden.

The Chinook Golf and Country Club recently concluded its 2022 Men's League Season and crowned a new winner. Hole 19 outlasted the Tip It Bar, and defeated them in the 18 Hole Championship round by a score of 41.5 to 34.5.

In a normal league week and for the quarterfinal and semifinal rounds a 9-hole format is used with 40 points being up for grabs, but for the final they play 18 holes over two weeks.

After nine holes, Hole 19 held a 21-19 advantage. On the back nine the champions extended their lead with a 20-5-15.5 effort.

The Hole 19 roster includes Tim Vosburgh, Mike Seymour, Craig Miller and Marty Dirden. The Tip It Bar team members are Tony Greetham, Don Parsons, Ben Parsons and George Belcourt.

Men's League second place finishers the 'Tip It Bar', Tony Greetham, Don Parsons, Ben Parsons and George Belcourt. The championship match was won 41-5-34.5 in an 18 hole format played over two weeks.

Hole 19 finished the regular season as the No. 3 seed. The team finished with 358 points, 18 points out of first in the 16 team Men's League. The Tip It Bar concluded their regular season as the No. 4 seed finishing with 352.5 points, 24.5 behind the front runners. Only the top eight teams competed for the League Championship.


In the semifinal round Hole 19 the topped the No. 2 Seed Milk River Pharmacy 24.5 - 15.5 to advance to the finale. Tip It Bar took down the No. 1 seed Rustic Flower to earn their spot in the chipper.

The Chinook Men's League has continued to have solid numbers when it comes to teams and subs. This year there were 16 teams consisting of 64 players the sub list has good numbers to fill in roster spots when needed.

The teams needed to have a least three roster members playing each week of the tournament for there points to count.

The eight teams that didn't make the Championship Tournament still got to extend their season a bit in the consolation bracket which was just for fun.

The Men's League is one the largest sources of revenue for the Golf Course and is very supported by golfers from Harlem, Havre, Box Elder and Rocky Boy.
