The Hays/Lodge Pole Thunderbird Volleyball team hasn't found the win column as much as they would like this season. Despite what their record may reflect, the girls have been getting better each time they step on the court. They are battling for points and extending rallies. Their efforts are certain to payoff if they continue to improve the way they have.

The Thunderbirds struggled in Rudyard this past weekend at the North Star Showcase. Hays/Lodge Pole took on Power/Dutton/Brady, Centerville, Cascade, North Star JV and Sunburst in Pool play where they were unable to post a win. In their tournament match the Thunderbirds defeated Heart Butte two sets to nothing.

Hays/Lodge Pole will be home this Thursday to face the Highwood Mountaineers and then will hit the road to take on the Box Elder Bears. The Thunderbirds beat Box Elder in their first meeting of the season and will look for the sweep.
