MAT Offers Seasonal Murder Mystery

November 2, 2022

Anyone who missed the Halloween weekend performance of Agatha Christie's Murder on the Orient Express, adapted for the stage by Ken Ludwig, another opportunity exists on November 3-5 and again on November 10-12. Curtain rises at 8:00 p.m. at the MSUN/MAT Theatre in Cowan Hall on the campus of MSU-Northern.

As the story goes, just after midnight, a snowdrift stops the Orient Express in its tracks. Although the luxurious train is surprisingly full for the time of the year, by the morning it is one passenger fewer. An American tycoon lies dead in his compartment, stabbed eight times, his door locked from the inside. Isolated and with a killer in their midst, the passengers rely on detective Hercule Poirot to identify the murderer – in case he or she decides to strike again.

Representing various communities on the Hi-Line, the cast will feature the following actors and actresses:

• Martin Holt-Hercule Poirot

• Kaelyn Kaftan-Princess Dragomirrof

• Tana Gorecki-Countess Andrenyi

• Katelyn Maloughney-Mrs. Helen Hubbard

• TJ Schwartzkopf-Michel The Conductor

• Ethan Davison-Head Waiter

• Jonny Michaelson-Ratchett

• Tyler Vauthier-Monsieur Constantine Bouc

• Jordan Rader- Greta Ohlsson

• Tristan Gauer-Hector MacQueen

• Bill Dolph-Colonel Arbuthnot

• Rachel Van Blaricom-Mary Debenham

Tickets for this Montana Actors' Theatre (MAT) performance are available locally at Havre Chamber of Commerce, Company Apparel, The Computer Center, and Bear Paw Meats, as well as online at mtactors.com/tickets.
