November 30, 2022

Plan to attend the Hassle-Free Christmas this year! It will look a little different from years past. We are having an open house in the library and vendors in the meeting room on Saturday December 3rd from 2:00-5:00. The Bell Choir will be playing this year and we will have soups, breads, and desserts to eat, as well as punch and coffee. If you would like a vendor spot, please call the library at 406-357-2932.

Santa will be at the library Tuesday, December 20th at 10:30 and 3:30. Santa will be reading “The Night Before Christmas” after which the kids can talk to Santa and then receive treat bags.

This week we have thrillers ready for checkout. “A Heart Full of Headstones” by Ian Rankin is the new Inspector Rebus novel. Three couples rent a luxury cabin in the woods for a weekend getaway to die for in “Secluded Cabin Sleeps Six” by Lisa Unger. “Quarry Girls” by Jess Lourey is a nerve-twisting novel inspired by a shocking true crime, where there are killers hiding in plain sight, small-town secrets and a girl who knows too much. “Anywhere You Run” by Wand Morris is a gripping, suspenseful novel where, after the murder of a white man in Jim Crow Mississippi, two black sisters run away to different parts of the country . . . but can they escape the secrets they left behind?
