We hope everyone had a very merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Now that the hectic days of November and December are over, we can get back into a regular schedule again. Of course, that will depend on what Mother Nature has in store for us!

“Stella Maris” by Cormac McCarthy is an intimate portrait of grief and longing, as a young woman in a psychiatric facility seeks to understand her own existence. It is book 2 in the Passenger series. In “Fake Money, Blue Smoke” by Josh Haven, a skilled counterfeiter hires a crew of career criminals to steal an artwork from a speeding train. “The Light Pirate” by Lily Brooks-Dalton is a hopeful story of survival and resilience set in the near future, that follows Wanda—a luminous child born out of a devastating hurricane—as she navigates a rapidly changing world. “The Lost Metal” by Brandon Sanderson is the final book in the Mistborn series.
