Gail Doyle

Gail Doyle, 73, passed away March 23, 2023, surrounded by family in Billings, MT following a brief battle with cancer. Gail, the eldest of four children, was born September 5, 1949 to Opal and Clyde Russell, Jr in Dermott, Arkansas. Gail graduated from Portland Hight School in 1967 and married Patrick David Doyle on October 26, 1968.

Pat and Gail settled in Turner, MT and had three sons; Jason Kyle, Jerod Alan, and Jeffrey Ladd. Gail's boys kept her on her toes, they always seemed to be up to something! Gail was a member of the Christian Science Church, the Tuner American Legion Auxiliary, and the Turner Lucky Ladies. Gail enjoyed cooking, gardening, and had a special talent for decorating and floral arrangement. Her Halloween and Christmas decorations were a wonderful sight to see.

Gail relocated to Dallas, TX following Pat's death in 2000. Gail held a variety of jobs while in Texas. She spent time at the Fort Worth Culinary Academy, was a nanny and personal chef, and decorated for many weddings and parties. Always the caregiver, Gail worked as a personal assistant in her final years. She enjoyed the flexibility this career offered her so she could travel back and forth to Montana to spend time with her Grandkids.

Gail is survived by her son, Jeffrey (Kara) Doyle of Billings, MT. Daughter-In-Law, Darci (BG) Ammen of Turner, MT. Grandchildren Ryan, Alison, Patrick, and Jack Doyle, and Rhett Ammen. Brother, Ricky Russell, of Boydell, AR. Sister, Becky (Rick) Young, of Kemp, TX. Nieces, Sudie (Doug) Brockman, Chas (Robert) Bowden, and Ashlyn Young, and several great-nieces and nephews.

Gail is proceeded in death by her grandparents, Effie and Clyde Russell, Sr and Ola Pearl and Roy Maglothin. Parents, Opal and Clyde Russell, Jr. Spouse, Patrick Doyle. Sons, Jason and Jerod Doyle. In-Laws, James (Pat) and Ethel Doyle. Sister, Cindy Allen. Niece and nephew, Dani Snider and Cody Brockman.

Graveside burial for Gail has taken place at the Turner Cemetary in Turner, MT on Thursday, March 30, 2023 at 11:30.
