Garry A. Martin, age 79, passed away peacefully, August 27, 2023 at Memorial Medical Center in Ashland, WI, with his loving wife, Marcy and other family members by his side.

Garry was born March 5, 1944 in Havre, MT, the son of Ervin and Frieda (Liedtke) Martin. He attended Harlem High School in Harlem, MT, graduating in 1962.

Garry was owner/operator of G & M Lawn and Garden Equipment, along with his wife, for more than thirty years. He was a hardworking, self-taught expert mechanic who gave patient dedication to his job and family. He was a quiet, good-natured, kind man who was always willing to help in many ways when needed. Gary and Marcy enjoyed traveling, fishing, camping, and watching movies together.

Survivors include his wife, Marlene “Marcy”; brothers, Marvin Martin, Moses Lake, WA and Bill (Robin) Martin, Huntley, MT; sisters, Carol Martin, Bozeman, MT and Denise Wheeler, Loveland, CO; stepchildren, Diane (Dave) Imhoff, Mark (Ana) Evenson, Pamela (Steve) Sullivan, Brian (Katy) Evenson and Janet (Paul) Bainbridge; and sister-in-law, Kathy (Bruce) Rapps. He is also survived by step-grandchildren, step-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

In keeping with Garry’s wishes there will be no formal services.

Roberts Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
