Neibauer Signs With Tech To Play Basketball

Chinook senior Hallie Neibauer has had a stellar career on the basketball court for the Sugarbeeters thus far. With her senior season just around the corner, Neibauer has made the decision to continue playing at the next level for the Montana Tech Orediggers.
Neibauer has worked long and hard to achieve her goal of playing college ball and is excited for the next step, "It is definitely a big relief. It started when I was younger, growing up watching my older siblings play. I've always looked up to them and would do anything to be like them. Whenever they went to the gym, I went to the gym with them no matter if it was early mornings or late nights. Another memory is playing at the court behind my house or the courts at The Meadowlark. Whenever I wasn't busy, I would be outside playing basketball. Even though I was a girl and smaller than the boys, they still let me play with them at the courts. Playing with them was very humbling, but they always made me better."
Tech was an easy decision, "Coach Graham and the coaching staff are great! They have done so much for me through this whole process and there are no words to describe how grateful I am. Tech has always been one of my top schools, but Graham and the rest of the team helped make the decision easier."
Neibauer is grateful for her school, "CHS has taught me a lot. I'll take everything from what all my coaches and teachers have taught me about being driven and working hard. Everyone around me at CHS is always pushing me to be the best that I can be whether it's in the classroom or on the court with my teammates. I don't know what I would do without them."
