Hello From the Chinook Social Senior Center!
We have had lots of fun this past week, with the September birthday party. We had 10 birthday guests to celebrate! Everyone enjoyed a wonderful Ham dinner & Birthday cake as well as a few surprises.
Saturday, Sept 30th we also had an Ice Cream Social. We had lots of people in to build their favorite Ice Cream treats, from Banana Splits to Sundaes, to Cones. A good time was had by all. Vanda Montgomery cut her beautiful Dahlias & Sunflowers for us all to enjoy on the tables. Thank you to Charlotte Brummer, who baked Chocolate Chip Cookies, Inez Halseth , Rita Surber, Vanda Montgomery, Patty Treft, who helped set up. Thank you also to Judy Johnson & Renee Nagy who were excellent Ice Cream Scoopers. Betty Billmayer came to help also. What a great bunch of ladies, with a heart for this community.
We are still having fun, while we are participating in the Walk with Ease classes. These are currently held on Mon. & Wed. beginning @ 10:00. Call and join this worthwhile class. 406-357-2648.
We are also enjoying Cornhole every Monday from 1:00-3:00. Tuesdays are Exercise @ 10:00 & Cribbage @ 1:00. Thursdays have Bingo @ .25 per card & is called from 1:00-3:00. We bake fresh Caramel Rolls every Thursday morning & they can be ordered on Wednesdays. They are $1.50 per roll or $15.00 per dozen. The Band plays on Fridays from 10:00-2:00.
Tuesday, October 10th will be a super fun day, as we have Poets & Pickers, as well as Virginia Olson’s 102nd birthday party! Come & celebrate with her!!

We have HOT coffee, Cold Ice Tea, Friendship, Fellowship & sometimes Cookies. GET IN HERE!
