Blaine County Library
Blaine County Library Board meeting Monday October 30th 4:30 p.m. Trunk or Treat Tuesday October 31st 6:00-7:00 p.m. Wednesday Homeschool Hour 1:00-2:00, Board Games/Drawing 4:00-5:00, and Teen Scene 6:00-7:00 (11/1,11/15, 11/29). Thursday LEGO Club 4:00-5:00. Friday Movie Day 2:00-3:30. Monday 4-8 grade Activity 4:00-5:00, Tuesday Story Time 10:30-11:00, 5-8 grade Hangout 4:00-5:00.
Harlem Library
Today, Oct. 25, the Harlem Board of Trustees will hold its monthly meeting at 4:30 in the library meeting room. The Book Challenge for Oct. is to read a cozy mystery. November’s Challenge is to read a book about a different culture. The Friends of the Library are currently holding their annual membership drive. New members are welcome! Membership dues are $10 and may be paid at the library. The program “Journey to Mongolia” with Steve Hughes has been rescheduled for Nov. 3, 7 P.M..
Bear Paw Cooperative
The Bear Paw Cooperative, through your local school district, assists in the provision of special education and related services to children with disabilities. Through a process called Child Find, your local school district accepts referrals, provides evaluations and special education for children ages 3-21 years if they qualify. Please contact your local school district or the Bear Paw Cooperative at 406-357-2269.
Harlem Food Bank
The Harlem Food Bank is beginning their Annual Drive for Funds. The Town Pump has offered to match up to $2500.00 if we can raise that much. We have always been successful in the past and hope to be again this year. The ending date is October 31, 2023. Thank you to everyone who chooses to participate.
Chinook Senior Center
The Chinook Senior Center Board will host an October birthday party for all seniors whose birthday’s are in October. The party will be the last Friday of October (October 27) at 12 noon. Call the Senior Center at 406-357-2648 by Wednesday October 25 to save a place at the table.
