The Blaine County Library Board of Trustees will hold their regular monthly meeting Monday October 30, 2023, at 4:30 p.m.

The library will be participating in Trunk or Treat this year. The Blaine County Health Department is sponsoring the Trunk or Treat. It will be held on the 400 block of Indiana Street from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. Plan to stop by and get a goodie bag from the library on Halloween!

New fiction this week includes several from authors well-liked by our patrons and one from an author new to our library. In “Judgement Prey” by John Sandford, Lucas Davenport and Virgil Flowers team up to crack an unsolvable case. “The Armor of Light” by Ken Follett heralds a new dawn for Kingsbridge, England, where progress clashes with tradition, class struggles push into every part of society, and war in Europe engulfs the entire continent and beyond. “The Exchange” by John Grisham marks the return of “The Firm’s” Mitch McDeere. “What My Sister Knew” by Nina Laurin is a psychological thriller. “The Woman I was Before” by Kerry Fisher is a book about the things we hide from those closest to us and the terrible consequences that keeping those secrets can have.
