Medical Fund Set Up for Former Harlem Resident, Wanda Bushman at 1st Bank

Wanda Bushman of Malta, formerly of Harlem, has begun a battle with stage 1 lobular carcinoma, a form of breast cancer.

Wanda worked at the Harlem Elementary School for many years and is the office manager of the Phillips County news in Malta. She is mother of six adults, and grandmother of six grandchildren and two step-grandchildren.

Wanda had a mammogram in June of 2023 which was an abnormal mammogram, from there a biopsy had detected the cancer.

Wanda will have a lumpectomy with partial lymph node removal in the last week of October and begin radiation mid-November for three weeks, every single day.

A medical fund has been set up at First State Bank of Malta. The bank's number is (406) 654-2340. The funds will help expenses incurred for her treatment, as well as gas for travel to her appointments, and food.
