Turner Students Travel to Washington DC

The Turner High School Juniors and Seniors from the DC Club recently traveled to Washington, DC. for a week-long trip of learning and exploring. Some of the highlights they saw were the White House, Capitol, Arlington Cemetery, various memorials including the Lincoln, Navy, Korean, Vietnam, Jefferson, World War Two Memorial, Lady Liberty, Martin Luther King, Jr. and Franklin D. Roosevelt Memorial, Holocaust Museum, Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History, and so much more! They truly had a full week of touring and learning.

Those traveling to Washington, DC were (back Row) Tate Beck, Caleb Zellmer, Ryan Doyle, Trent Billmayer, JR Brown, Carson Maloney, Modesty Chamberlain, and Hannah Richman. Front Row: Cassidy Grabofsky and Meridian King-Snider. They traveled with their DC Club advisors, Mrs. Bobbi Beck and Mrs. Elissa Zellmer. This truly was a trip of a lifetime for these students. They came back with so many memories.
