Hello From the Chinook Social Senior Center!

We are truly enjoying all of the new people who are visiting us & participating in our activities. There is so much laughter with Cornhole! You really need to try it! GET IN HERE!

We have been richly blessed by many helping hands during this season of business, with people traveling to meet with their families. We require 3 volunteers daily to help with the meal tickets, deliver meals, and help in the kitchen. I count many people as my friends, who have stepped up to fill the voids. PLEASE REMEMBER, if you want a reward that keeps a smile on your face, all day long……call me & sign up to help in one of these VOLUNTEER positions. It is rewarding. It is fun to visit with the wonderful guests that we see daily. If you indeed have an embracing heart for our community, if you enjoy being around people & making their day brighter…..GET IN HERE!

As we enter this season of Thanksgiving, let’s be thankful for the many blessings which our Lord has bestowed upon us. His grace is sufficient, even in times of difficulty & grief. His promises will never leave you void. It is in our deepest valleys that He shines the most. He is present, always.

Thurs. Nov. 30th: BIRTHDAY DINNER Ham dinner with all of the trimmings (Call us!)

Fri., Dec. 1st: Cowboy Stew (prepared by Doug Mitchell & Teddy Powell)

Tues., Dec 5th: Baked Potato Bar
