A great big thank you to everyone who supported the Wine & Cheese Fundraiser. Once again, it was a wonderful and successful event. Your generosity is greatly appreciated.

The December Book Challenge is to read a book about music, bands, or musicians. We have a selection on display for you to choose from.

After School Squad and Lego Club will be held December 13 (today) and December 20. There will be no programming the week of December 25.

The library will be closed Christmas Day and New Year’s Day. Happy Holidays to everyone!

The Book Club will start up again after the holidays. The new book will be “Hang the Moon” by Jeannette Walls and may be picked up January 2-5. The first discussion will be January 8, 4 P.M. in the library meeting room.

Stop by and pick up a holiday book or two from the Christmas Book Tree. There are lots of heart-warming selections, both new and old, to choose from.

“The Orphan’s Letter” by Glynis Peters is a new historical fiction novel. Orphan Kitty Pattison is working as a nurse across the UK during World War II. Her best friends Jo and Trixie are also scattered across the country and her sweetheart Michael is on the continent serving medical missions. The only thing keeping them all connected is their letters to each other. But with each one that arrives Kitty worries it may be the last one.

A new Thursday Murder Club mystery is “The Last Devil” by Richard Osman. The gang has received shocking news - an old friend has been killed and a dangerous package he was protecting has gone missing. In their search they encounter drug dealers, art forgers, and online fraudsters. With the clock ticking as more murders occur, whom can they trust?

“Holding Fire: A Reckoning with the American West” is a new addition to the Montana collection by Bryce Andrews. Bryce Andrews, a pacifist raised to do no harm, moves from Seattle to Montana to tend livestock and the land. When he inherited his grandfather’s revolver, her felt the weight of violence branded into his chosen life. In this memoir, Andrews chronicles his journey to find a new path for himself and to reshape one handgun into a tool for good work.

Two new romance novels are “Talulah’s Back in Town” by Brenda Novak and “Wyoming Proud” by Diana Palmer.

“Murder Uncorked” is a Cece Barton Mystery by Maddie Day and “Some of Us Are Looking” is a County Kerry Novel by Carlene O’Connor.
