Happy New Year! The library will be closed Monday, January 1 New Year's Day.

The regular programs are taking a break this week but will resume the first week of January. After School Squad, STEAM programming for grade school students, will meet again Wednesday, January 3 from 4:00 - 5:00 P.M. Lego Club will meet Thursday, January 4 from 4:00 - 5:00 P.M. for all ages. Storytime had been moved from Tuesdays to Fridays. Children ages 0-5 are invited for a time of stories, songs, play and activities. Storytime will begin in the new year on Friday, January 5 from 10:00 - 11:00 A.M. Film Fridays have been discontinued.

Book Club members are encouraged to pick up their copy of the new book "Hang the Moon" by Jeannette Walls January 2-5. The first discussion will be held January 8, 4 P.M. in the library meeting room.

The library is hosting the 2024 Book Challenge. Each month, the library challenges patrons to read a unique category of book. Readers who complete the monthly challenges are asked to contact the library to have their name entered to win a $10 gift card from a local business. Below is the list of categories for each month in 2024. January's Challenge is to read book with a three-word title.
