Hello From the Chinook Social Senior Center!

We continue to have fun, fun, fun in here! Today we are celebrating St. Valentine’s Day, with a Scavenger Hunt, Valentine Bingo & a crowning of a King & Queen, which are John & Dona Clay! These two marvelous people help out every single day, here at the Center. They are always willing to help and always have a smile on their faces! We are also gifting a Prince of Steve Edwards & his lovely bride, Sherry Edwards as Princess. We will be gifting a Sweetheart as well. Mary Preeshl has been coming in for several months and helping out in any capacity that we need. She is a very sweet soul. Congratulations to all of these very deserving community members who extend themselves to the service of others.

We have lots of other upcoming activities, including a CARD PARTY on Friday, February 23rd from 1:00 to 5:00. Please call the center and let us know that you would like to play and what type of cards that you wish to play. We would like to have all of our tables set and ready before you get here. We had so much fun the last time. I am certain that we will again.

We have continued to enjoy our Paint with Jack classes, our Paint by Number classes, Bingo, Cribbage, Pinochle Marathon, Cornhole and anything else that we can find to make us laugh and get together. We will also be scheduling another Diamond Dotz art class. Call us so that we can add you to our class!

We have been saddened by the passing of many people within our community lately who have spent a great amount of time here at our Center over the years. We realize how quickly time goes by when we see how fast they leave us. Share your best memories of those who have gone home before us to keep their memories alive.

Friday, March 8th from 2:00-4:00 we will be celebrating a Birthday party for Terry Tilleman. Please come & join in the celebration of this lovely lady.

On Friday, March 16th we will be celebrating St Uhro’s day, which according to Steve Edwards will be fun. This will include a very unique menu. Oh, boy! Remember, this is Steve’s idea.
