Hello From the Chinook Social Senior Center
Please remember that Teddy Powell has made us aware that on Saturday, March 30th from 1:00-5:00 there will be several band members jamming at the Pastime lounge for your listening and dancing pleasure! Many of these participants are coming from Malta. Let’s show up and make certain that they know they are appreciated.
If there is an activity that you would like to join us for, or if you have any suggestions about another activity that you would like us to think about, please call us and let us know. Our mission is JOY.
I am working on getting two more speakers here in the near future. One of these was a retired Registered nurse, whom I met at the Governor’s Conference on Aging last October. She has a very compelling story about how SCAMMERS robbed her of her life’s savings. I will post this information just as soon as I am able to. Weather is a factor in Montana in the Spring, so….it may be June.
Telephone scams have once again, been on the rise. If you do not recognize the number, simply do not answer your telephone. They are very calculating at how they extort information from you. They also like to send you e-mails telling you to call them. Be aware of these individuals. They have one mission. Taking all that you have worked your entire life for. Do not engage in conversation with them. Do not call them.
We are all decorated for Easter. Why don’t you come in and join us for lunch soon and enjoy the fresh Daffodils. They are always a sign of hope & spring.
Please remember to tease Steve Edwards when you see him. He does enjoy a good joke.
We have Cornhole, Cribbage, Painting classes, Paint by Number, Pinochle, Bingo, Music on Fridays and special music on occasion.
HAPPY EASTER! As we gather together with family and friends, let us all remember what HE gave up for us! BE BLESSED AND BE A BLESSING!
