The Book Challenge for April is to read a book about outer space, astronauts or aliens. In other space news, the library will be celebrating the total solar eclipse which happens on April 8 although in our part of the country we will only have a partial eclipse. Friday, April 5 Carly will be outside of the library (weather permitting) handing out information and protective viewing glasses. On Monday, April 8, beginning shortly after 11 a.m. local expert Eva English will be sharing information, giving demonstrations, and showing livestream videos of the total eclipse. April 10 the Montana Library Network and the Harlem Library will host the virtual program “Rockhounding with Neil Maier, Hellgate Mineral Society” from 6:30 – 8 p.m. via Zoom. You may watch on your own device by registering at https://Bit.ly/Rockhounding or join us at the library for a watch party. The library will close at 12:30 p.m. on April 17 so staff may attend training.
