Hello From the Chinook Social Senior Center

We had a great number of people here last Friday, March 29th for the Birthday party!

We also had quite a number of people here on Mon., April 1st to help Steve Edwards celebrate his 80th birthday! It is no surprise to many of us that he was born on April 1st. He is quite a jokester. In fact, he came with a “Snow Snake”. Gads, that guy never quits. We all gifted him with the best “White Elephant” gifts that we could imagine. There were a couple of kind people who brought him something nice, but all in all, it was a nice day, celebrating this prankster/reporter.

We have many fun things coming up here, in April. Friday, April 12th will bring Gene Allen back for wonderful music from 1:00-4:00. GET IN HERE! I would like to be able to show our appreciation for his talents.

Barb Ranstrom will be back sharing her Diamond Dotz art class on Tues., April 16th @1:00! PLEASE CALL US!

We will once again be hosting a CARD PARTY on Friday, April 19th from 2:00-5:00. PLEASE CALL US, so that we know you are joining us!

Tues., April 23rd will bring Tom Thackeray here, from Roundup to present his poetry as well as stories @ 1:00. PLEASE GET IN HERE! Many of these people travel a distance to share these opportunities with us.

We have Cornhole, Cribbage, Bingo, Pinochle, Paint with Jack Brandon, Paint by Number, and music on Fridays.

WE HAVE HOT COFFEE, COLD ICE TEA, FRIENDSHIP, FELLOWSHIP, A HEART FOR OUR COMMUNITY & FUN! GET IN HERE!
