“After Annie” is a new novel by Anna Quindlen. When Annie Brown dies suddenly, her husband, her children, and her closest friend are left to find a way to move on without her. What saves them all over the course of the next year is Annie, ever-present in their minds, and who gives them the power to go on without her. This story is about hope, and about the unexpected power of adversity to change us in profound ways.

B.A. Paris is the author of “The Guest.” Iris and Gabriel have just arrived home from a make-or-break holiday to find their friend, Laure, in their house. Things become tense as she oversteps again and again. As Laure’s mood becomes increasingly unpredictable, her presence takes a toll. Iris and Gabriel find respite with a new couple in town. But with them comes their gardener, who has a questionable past.

“Lookout” by Christine Byl is a new novel set in Montana. Josiah and Margaret KInzler have two daughters, Cody and Louisa, who grew up watching their parents navigate what is means to be true to yourself. Bound by the love of the land, the Kinzlers work to bridge the gaps created by what they leave unspoken.

“The Lost Journals of Sacajewea” is a visionary novel by Indigenous author Debra Magpie Earling. Sacajewea served as interpreter and guide for Lewis and Clark’s Corp of Discovery. Earling brings her vividly to life, casting unsparing light on the men who brutalized her and telling her tale of perseverance.

Other new titles include thrillers “End of Story” by A.J. Finn, “The Ghost Orchid” by Jonathan Kellerman, and “Every Single Secret” by Christina Dodd.
