Laura Danley, Abby Danley, Quin Billmayer, Cassidy Darlington, Bryce Elliot, Samson Sanders, Sydney Bowles, Cynnloch Gibson, Mrs. Stella Llante, January Jensen, and Charley Nissen celebrate their success at the Academic Olympiad which was held on April 10 in Glasgow.
On April 10, eight different schools brought representatives to Glasgow to compete in the Academic Olympics. Several Chinook Junior High School students walked away from that event as winners. Earning the highest cumulative score out of 72 students on the grade seven written tests was Cynnloch Gibson.
In the morning, the competitors put their aptitudes to the test on written exams in Math, Science, English, and Social Studies. After lunch, they competed in Academic Orals.
