It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Kermit Gene Horn, Walks on the Clouds, a proud member of the Fort Belknap Assiniboine Tribe. Kermit, 68, passed away peacefully at his home on March 26, 2025.

Kermit was born on December 7, 1956, in Fort Belknap, Montana, to Elizabeth Jackson and Gilbert Horn Sr. He graduated from Harlem High School and pursued higher education in Minnesota, where he developed a deep appreciation for wheelchair basketball. Kermit's greatest joy was his family. Kermit's family wrote: "Kermit's love for his children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews meant the world to him. He dedicated his time to the community through sports, insight, and always lending a hand to everyone."
