    One year ago, almost to the day, the Blaine County Journal published an article for the local animal shelter in Chinook. P.A.W.S was ready to close its doors if they couldn’t find reliable volunteers. Starting over 25 years ago, the idea that our animal shelter might face closing was shocking.
