This a view of the powerplant complex where power is generated at the Fort Peck Dam. The dam, completed in 1940, is 21,000 feet long and is the largest hydraulically filled dam in the world. Part of the purpose of the dam was to create jobs during the depression and at its peak provided 10,456 jobs.
