Sylvi Hardwood competed this summer for the first time as a five year old in the Eight and Under Girls division. Her transition from a nervous young swimmer diving into the pool in her first ever meet in Harlem, left, to a dominant swimmer at the Divisional swim meet in Plentywood, right, was nothing short of spectacular. Sylvi finished 12th overall at the State Swim Meet, compiling 18 points. Of the 11 swimmers ahead of her 9 were eight year olds and the other two were seven.
