CHINOOK – Blaine County health officials reported Thursday that a test performed for cyanotoxins associated with a blue-green algae bloom at Cow Creek Reservoir has returned with high results. RiverStone Health and the Department of Public Health and Human Services (DPHHS) have identified the first confirmed case of severe pulmonary disease associated with vaping in connection with the ongoing national investigation. The Annual Sugarbeet Festival took place this past Saturday in downtown Chinook. The day began with the Jesse James Memorial Color Run and concluded with a street dance on Main Street.
