This was the fifth year the Harlem Civic Association hosted a Fall Festival-sometimes billed as 'the last picnic of the season.' The Association hosted a first ever Hunger Walk as part of this fall's event. Organizers said 70+ people signed up and paid the $30 fee to walk. These little cuties spent the better part of recess piling leaves, jumping in it, and throwing them in the air trying to catch them. They were having such a wonderful time! Then, Monday began to cool off and a skiff of snow blanketed the playground. The Chinook Rod & Gun Club will hold its Fifth Annual Gun Show this Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the Commercial Building located at the Blaine County Fairgrounds. The day long gathering featured presentations on everything from adult protective services to support groups for caregivers. The Blaine County Sheriff's Office and Chinook Police Department are using a new web-based software that will improve crime statistics reporting and streamline dispatch operations that serve both agencies. Over the weekend, cooler and wetter weather helped ease the effects of this year’s fire season, but most of the counties within the Lewistown Fire Restriction Area have decided to stay in fire restrictions, with the exception of Chouteau and Phillips Counties.
