Kelsey has a put together a new book display for the month of October. Come in and take a look at books that go bump in the night and take one home for a frightful night!

“Love Everlasting” by Tracie Peterson is book 3 in the Brides of Seattle series.

“A.D 33” by Ted Dekker is the follow-up to “A.D. 30.”

“Pretending to Dance” by Diane Chamberlain is an exploration of family, lies, and the complexities of both.

“Rosemary, the Hidden Kennedy Daughter” by Kate Larson is the fascinating story of Joe and Rose Kennedy’s daughter, who was intellectually disabled, a secret fiercely guarded by her famous family.

New movies this week include “The World at War” series. This series presents an unsurpassed visual history of World War II and is narrated by Sir Laurence Olivier. “Avengers: Age of Ultron” is also available this week.

We have started showing Hallmark movies the first and third Wednesdays of each month at 1 p.m. “Front of the Class” will be the next one and will be shown October 21. Refreshments will be served and everyone is welcome to join us!

Be sure to plan ahead for the 24th Annual Hassle-Free Christmas Program. As always there will be food and entertainment, so be sure to mark your calendars for Tuesday, November 17, so you don’t miss out!

Story Time is held Tuesday mornings at 10:30 a.m. All kids are welcome to join whatever fun things Kelsey has planned.

LEGO Club is held Tuesday afternoons from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. and is open to grades K though 6.

Teen Night and Jr. High Hangout will be starting soon. We are going to try something a bit different this year with Teen Night and with the Middle School Hangout. We will have a program once a month, rather than every week. Teen Night for this month will be Monday, October 26 at 7 p.m. and Middle School Hangout will be Thursday, October 29 at 3:30 p.m.

New additions have been added to the on-going book sale, which is located in the entryway of the library.

There is always something going on at the library. Check us out on Facebook or look us up on our website at http:www.blainecountylibrary.org for up to date information about what’s going on!
