Chinook sweeps Big Sandy, Box Elder to claim third straight conference crown

The Chinook Sugarbeeters have secured their third straight District 6C-East regular season title and they still have one conference match remaining.
In a short week the 'Beeters swept big Sandy 25-5, 25-16, and 25-12 last Monday and then repeated the trick Tuesday night in Box Elder, topping the Bears 25-5, 25-7 and 25-20 to improve to 8-0 in conference play.
Chinook was paced offensively by senior Lauren Harshman against the Bears with six kills. Sophomore Sierra Swank added 14 assists and nine aces in the win.
