Sanfords celebrate 60th wedding anniversary

Betty Jean (Dunbar) and Albert J. Sanford celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary in Billings, Montana, with a gathering of family and a very special dinner.

They were married Sept. 4, 1955, at the Presbyterian Church in Chinook, Montana.

He worked for Texaco Inc., (Producing and Drilling) for 33 years. She worked for Pyramid Insurance, Wyoming National Bank and Wyoming Production Credit. After retirement, they spent the winter months in Arizona for the next 25 years. They have lived in Casper for 43 years.

The Sanfords had four children, Robert (deceased) and wife Suzee, of Casper; twin daughters Kathy Thomas and her husband, Pat, of Fairfax, Virginia, and Karen Sanford Gall and her husband, Dan, of Billings, Montana; and Mark and his wife, Heather, of Greybull. They enjoy their 11 grandchildren.
