The community awoke to a blanket of white glistening snow early Wednesday. It remained on the ground throughout the day. The youngsters at school were more than excited for that first snow to come. They were like little gophers burrowing in the snow, rolling in it and rolling all sizes of balls to make a snowman. Shown here are Ali Doyle, daughter of Darci and B.G. Ammen and Holly Grabofsky daughter of Crystal and Mike Grabofsky with their creation. Although the kids had wet gloves and snow pants after recess, they thought it was well worth it!
