Colleen Hickel’s mother and husband spent the weekend with Steve and Colleen and family. While here, they took in some junior high basketball games.

Virginia McCracken enjoyed a Quilt Guild Sewing Day Saturday at the church.

A “Thanks for the Harvest” community church service will be held on Thursday, November 19 at the Hogeland Lutheran Church. Soup supper will be served at 6 p.m. with services to follow at 7 p.m. Everyone is cordially invited to attend.

Ron and Susan Fox attended the Outstanding Agricultural Leadership award for Max and Kirsti Cederberg in Bozeman last weekend.

Bill and Mary Hake enjoyed a pancake Birthday dinner for Wrien Wolery on Sunday.

Terry and Tammy Jones were in Joplin to celebrate the second birthday of their granddaughter, Kenley Tempel on Saturday. She also was baptized on Sunday. Congratulations on your big weekend, Kenley!

Bobbie Dozios from Climax spent Friday night at the Fox home after attending Susan’s wine party on Friday.

Virginia McCracken has had two separate groups of hunters visit at her home over the past couple of weeks. They were from the Washington area.

There will be basketball Wednesday at Box Elder. The girls play at 5 p.m. and the boys play at 6:15 p.m. Then on Friday there is a game on Turner’s home court with Fort Benton coming to play. The games are at 4 and 5:30 p.m. The kids will travel to Chinook on Monday. The girls play at 5:15 p.m. and the boys at 6:30 p.m. Hope to see you. Hilary and Hannah Richman visited Diana Maloney on Saturday after their 4-H meeting.
