Five bowling teams in Harlem's Women's League meet each Wednesday at the Harlem VFW. Bernadette Weasel, pictured at the start line, gets ready to make a spare. Weasel, part of the Dusty's Feeders team, said of the recent major rehabilitation the bowling equipment at the VFW's alley, "The machines are better than last season and there's a guy here who can fix them if there is a problem."
The league was in its sixth week of a 21 week season through the winter months.
