Hays/Lodge Pole dropped their fifth contest of the season last Monday to the North Star Knights 65-39.

While the Thunderbirds have yet to find the win column, the direction the program is heading is clear, and thats up. The Thunderbirds have been much more competitive than in recent memory and have caused each team they have faced to work a little harder.

In Gildford last Monday eighth grader Mulleeah Stiffarm continued her stellar play at the high school varsity level as she tossed in 13 points in the loss.

Stiffarm scored 26 her previous game and is averaging nearly 17 points a game in District 9C play.

Freshman Latasha and Rayleigh Kirkaldie have been consistent contributors as well.

Junior Maxine PlainFeather has provided leadership to the underclassmen in helping turn the program in a new direction
