Tom and Lucy Fairbank attended basketball games this weekend. Keep working hard, Tornadoes!!

Virginia McCracken was to Chinook to the ballgame on Saturday. She especially enjoyed listening to her granddaughter, Nicole McCracken, sing the National Anthem prior to the game.

Rennay Watkins spent Sunday night with Grandma and Grandpa Fairbanks.

There will be a Spelling Bee on Wednesday for grades 5-8 at the school at 2:43 p.m.

There will be a basketball game in Turner hosting the Box Elder Bears on Thursday. Game times are 5:00 and 6:30. Hope to see you all!

Basketball action on Friday sees the Tornadoes traveling to Big Sandy. Game times are at 6:00 and 7:30.

Adult Ed classes run all through this week at Turner. Check your listings to see if there is something you’d be interested in taking and if there’s still time to sign up.

There will be Parent/Teacher conferences at the school on Tuesday, January 19th from 1:00-7:00 p.m. Call the school to make an appointment for the elementary wing. High School does not need appointments. With the large number of students in the first and second grade room this year, Mrs. Maloney will be available during her prep time (2:45-3:15) all this week and next if you’d be interested in one of those time slots during the day. Please call the school to make an appointment for all elementary conferences. School will be dismissed at 12:30 this day.

Brenden Johnson of Harlem spent Thursday night with Lucas Reed. The whole family enjoyed his visit!

Sympathy is extended to Virginia and Kelly McCracken on the passing of their loving dog, Molly. She will sure be missed by people passing their home.

Happy Birthday to Brenda Maloney! She celebrated her special day on Sunday with family and friends!
