Chinook Chamber of Commerce unveils new 'Buck'

Jennifer Hellman, the Chinook Area Chamber's Treasurer, holds examples of the new look for Chamber Bucks. Chamber Bucks are a gift certificate program that can be used with any area merchant, whether a member of the Chamber or not. Bucks can be purchased and redeemed at the American Garage in Chinook.
Chamber Bucks, a gift certificate-type program usable at any business in Chinook, has been around awhile. Recently the 'bucks' got a new look. Instead of the former check-like appearance, the new Chamber Bucks come in $5 and $10 denominations. The gift program was started "to improve sales of products or services in the Chinook area." Businesses can take and redeem Chamber Bucks whether they are a member of the Chinook Chamber or not.
