Emma "Rose" Gilbert, 91, passed away peacefully at her daughter's home April 7, 2016 in Great Falls, MT.

Emma was born April 21, 1924 to Fred and Lena Bahr on the family homestead north of Chinook. She graduated from Chinook High School in 1942 and married Charles Gilbert on August 3, 1942. Rose is survived by her three children: Ron (Sheila) of Libby, Gene of Tulalip, WA, Karla (Richard) Schrade of Libby, Cheryl of Great Falls and Steve (Denise) of Rock Hill, SC. Also surviving are six grandsons: Rod, Jerry, Richie, Tony, Jason and Eric. One granddaughter Dulci also survives. Six great grandchildren also survive her: Ashlynn, Connor. James, Kailen, Ellison and Mazi. She is also survived by her brother Earl Bahr and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death were her parents, her husband Charles, son Roger, brothers Raymond and John, sisters Ruby and Anna.
