April 'Snow' showers, a beautiful sight to see

Snow in the month of April, or even May isn't uncommon but the storm that passed through Sunday and Monday was a bit unique. The snow blanketed the landscape bending tree branches to the ground and weighing on power lines across the area. While there were a few trees on the ground power remained supplied throughout the county. An estimated 6-9" of snow fell across the region amounting to 1.5-3" of moisture.
