The University may not have had a marching band without Don and Pat Simmons and Elizabeth-Simmons O'Neil, J.K. Simmons, David Simmons and Marilyn Rice. They have done so much to raise the importance of the music program to high school students entering the University of Montana through the Don Simmons Music Education Scholarship program.
