The senior class of 2016 are (Left to right), Bret Van Valkenburg, Tyler Lynn Anderson and Tyler Humphreys. Bret is the son of Wendy and Kevin Van Valkenburg, Tyler Lynn is the daughter of Kimber and Jay Anderson, while Tyler is the son of Denita and Steve Humphreys. These Seniors were honored at a banquet and prom by the Junior Class of 2017.
The Turner High School Junior Senior Prom was held recently in Turner at the Old Gym. This year's theme was, "Footloose and Fancy Free." The Junior Class held a banquet prior to the prom with help from their parents. It was open to school board members, both Junior and Senior classes and their parents. The Senior Class wills and prophecies were read. After the banquet, the prom with DJ music began. The grand march was held at 8:00 with crowning of the King and Queen. King was Bret Van Valkenburg and Tyler Lynn Anderson was Queen, both Seniors.
