Candace Dawn (Townsend) Brodecky, 65, passed away on May 16, 2016 at her home in Tucson, Az. Cremation has taken place.
Candy was born on October 7, 1950 to Donald and Marcella Townsend in Townsend, MT. She was raised in Livingston, MT.
Candy was a lifelong student. She never lost her love for learning. She traveled the world and enrolled in many classes through the University of Arizona and local adult education classes studying anything from psychology to the arts. Candy was creative, she had an artistic side that she expressed though many mediums; oil painting, water color, fiber arts, or clay. She loved to create not only with her hands but her mind. Candy had a passion for animals and people alike, always willing to offer a helping hand to others. She was well loved and will be missed.
Candy was preceded in death by her loving husband, Lee Brodecky, and her parents.
Survivors include her son Frank J. Papp of Tucson, AZ, a brother, Terry (Roxanne) Townsend of Chinook, MT, a sister, Elizabeth (Scott) Jennings of Asheville, NC, Grandsons, Draik and Jaidan Papp of Tucson, Neice, Tara (Levi) Hofeldt and family of Chinook, MT, Nephews Justin Townsend and family of Livingston, MT, Aaron Townsend and family of Livingston, MT, many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Candace is also survived by her special friends Kim McDowell and Karissa Jennings, and special cousin Alberta Wilkinson.
