Chinook Music Students Receive Top Honors at State Solo and Ensemble Festival in Helena

After a very successful District Solo and Ensemble Festival in Shelby, music students from Chinook High School moved onto State Solo and Ensemble Festival in Helena. Out of twelve songs presented, three received superior ratings, the highest honor given. The remaining nine songs received excellent ratings and were all just a few points away from receiving superiors themselves.
The following students received superior ratings: Travis Hamilton for his vocal solo, "Across the Western Ocean"; Elizabeth Hodgson for her violin solo, "Bouree"; Kyler Johnson for his vocal solo, "Cindy".
