As has become custom the past few years the Pig Wrestling competition closed out another successful Blaine County Fair with a superb performance.

48 teams made up the field at this years event and again proved to be one of the biggest draws of the weekend, “It’s a tremendous turnout. The Pig Wrestling and the Derby are two of our biggest draws,” stated event organizer Don Richman.

Four divisions make up the competitive field; PeeWees, Juniors, Men and Women.

This years competition was stiff and some fast times were recorded but most of all fun was had the 2016 Blaine County Fair came to a close.

The Angry Birds won the PeeWee division with a time of :20.49. The Wade Ranch team won the Junior division with the fastest time of the day, barreling their hog in :09.38. Oink Mafia won the woman’s division with a effort of :16.18. In the Men’s division it was Kermit The Frogs Revenge bringing home the bacon with a time of :26.21.

1.) - Angry Birds - Preston Egbert, Colton Jorgenson, Taylor Richman, Fallen Cecrle (20.49).

2.) - Piggy Nabbers - Ben Hofeldt, Ashlyn Hofeldt, Thane Drugge, Tamra Drugge.

3.) - Bacon Bits 2 - Hudson Simons, Lex Woolery, Willie Krass, Molly Grabofsky.

Juniors

1.) - Wade Ranch - Lonnie Wade, Noah Molifar, Dylan Chvilicek, Kassidy Compton (9.38).

2.) - Hamroids - Ginger Hauer, J.T. Hauer, Jayden Miller, Curtis Slaughter-Hamilton.

3.) - Black Crow Busters - Marty Snow, Michael Blackcrow, Loney Blackcrow, Amelia Blackcrow.

Women

1.) - Oink Mafia - Madison Inman, Charly Anderson, Sierra Swank, Kourtney Hanson (16.18).

2.) - Bacon Spankers - Jenny Buck, Tracy Bowles, Krista Drugge, Kathy Anderson.

Men

1.) - Kermit the Frogs Revenge - Emily Scofield, Valery Hattar, Ryan Evans, Scott Henderson (26.21).

2.) - Wolfgang Porkers - Willie Miller, Robert Stroh, Ben Stroh, Andrew Bartel.
