First Bank of Montana celebrates "Big Day", Drive Up system remodel completed

Ashlyn (9) and January Jensen (5), enjoy a root beer float during the First Bank of Montana's Big Day celebrated last week. The celebration was in part to announce the reopening of the drive-up access at the bank. The girls are the daughters of Ryan and Linae Jensen.

First Bank of Montana, in Chinook, celebrated "Big Day" last week. Branch Manager Craig Lowham said the day was part of a week-long celebration to attract new accounts to the bank. It was also the first day to use the local bank's new drive-up system. There was homemade root beer floats during the big day and coffee and treats all during the week.

Lowham explained that First Bank of Montana is comprised of the two banks owned by Glacier Bank located in Chinook and Lewistown. Each year the Glacier banks compete to see which facilities can, based on a percentage increase from the prior year,...
