Valley Clovers 4H Club files monthly report

 

July 20, 2016



The ninth meeting of the Valley Clovers 4-H Club was called to order by President Brooke Elliot at 5:42 PM on June 9th 2016 at Walner Hall. There were three leaders, 20 members, and several guests present.

4-H Members reported on lamb and pig shows, dog practices, radio ads, and delivering the barn signs. Three leaders then reported on the latest council meeting and to see if anyone knew of a horse judge that would be available for fair. The Fairgrounds committee then reported on their progress on their project in front of the 4-H building at the fairgrounds, all that was left to do is pour the concrete.

The club discussed our fair duties and a sheet was passed around for the Chuckwagon shift signups. Another discussion followed about cleaning up the pig barn as our club duty. A date was decided on Wednesday June 15th at 5:30 to work on the barn. The last order of New Business was to reimburse Kourtney Hanson for her supplies that she bought for 4-H Camp, there was a motion and a second to do so.

The meeting was adjourned and the next meeting was set for August 14th, 2016 at 1:00 PM at Walner Hall. Demonstrations were then given after the meeting by Bree Swanson and Ross Reed.
